This week, we updated Replicon Mobile for iOS, launched pre-population of login details in both versions of our mobile app, released some improvements to resource allocation, added groups to two reports, and fixed an issue.

Update to Mobile for iOS

Replicon Mobile for iOS 1.0.95.5 is now available in the Apple app store. It includes support for pre-population of login credentials via EMM – see below for more information. It also includes some bug fixes, and this improvement:

  • We’ve changed how shifts display to schedule users, so you can still read shift names even if the shift color is very dark; The shift color now shows as a tab on the left side of the screen, and has no overlying text.

New in Mobile for Android and iOS: Pre-population of login details via EMM

Administrators can now use Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) applications like MobileIron and AirWatch to pre-populate employee mobile devices with their Replicon company key and user name. This can make it easier for new users to access Replicon Mobile. This change is available in the latest release of both versions of the app – Android 1.0.90.3 and iOS 1.0.95.5.

Refer to Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) with Replicon Mobile for more information on using EMM.

Resource Allocation Changes

We’ve launched the changes to resource allocation that we announced on July 11.  These changes give resource managers more control over how holidays and time off are handled when making allocations.

Improvements

  • Groups columns are now available in the Timesheet Correction and Target Billable Hours report templates. You can view the group assignment associated with data in a row or the group the user is currently assigned to, along with effective dates for assignments.

Fixed issues

  • If you’ve created a custom column based on the Project Name, Activity Name, Task Name, or Task Code columns, if you include the custom column and exclude the column it’s based on from the report, the report will show no data
