This week, we updated Replicon Mobile for iOS and Android, added password strength feedback, made a couple of other improvements, and fixed some issues.

Update to Mobile for iOS

Replicon Mobile for iOS 1.0.115.0 is now available in the App store. It includes bug fixes, such as this one:

  • Time off hours may not be visible to supervisors when they view users’ Time Distribution Grid timesheets
And this new functionality:

  • A new Search All task selector is available in the Time Distribution Grid that returns all programs, projects, and tasks that match the search term
  • You can now sort Time Distribution Grid data by columns – client, project, task, billing, etc

Update to Mobile for Android

Replicon Mobile for Android 1.0.102.0 is now available in the Play store. It includes these new features:

  • A new Search All task selector is available in the Time Distribution Grid that returns all programs, projects, and tasks that match the search term
  • You can now sort Time Distribution Grid data by columns – client, project, task, billing, etc

Password strength advisory

To help you create stronger Replicon passwords, we’ve added a password strength advisory to every location in Replicon where you can change a password. This feature indicates the strength of a new password using text (Weak, So-so, Good, or Great), and a line at the base of the password field.

Plus, it includes tips on how to make your password stronger.

Ability to exclude certain shifts when pre-filling timesheets

The Scheduled Hours population method will automatically add an employee’s scheduled shifts to their timesheet. But some schedule managers include rest day shifts in a schedule, to track availability, and don’t want those shifts to appear on timesheets.

To address this issue, we’ve added an option to exclude certain shifts when using the Scheduled Hours method. To exclude shifts, enter their names in the Excluded Shift Codes field, separated by a comma.

Improvements

  • In the default France pay rule, we updated the weekly thresholds for overtime to 35 and 43 hours

Fixed issues

  • Long pay code names may not be visible in the Payroll Summary table in configurable timesheets
  • In some cases, supervisors may not be able to see break times or any time entered beyond a break when viewing view-only, In-Out Times timesheets
  • Timesheets with both the Time Punches and Time Entry Details components may fail to load
