This week, we updated Replicon Mobile for Android, added file attachments for configurable timesheets, improved some Canadian pay rules, and fixed a couple of issues.

Update to Mobile for Android

Replicon Mobile for Android is now available in the Play store. It includes this new functionality:

  • The ability to overwrite a configurable timesheet with time entries from the previous timesheet period
And fixes this issue:

  • In configurable timesheets, workflow condition errors show a generic Timesheet cannot be submitted if they have a validation error message, rather than a message that indicates the problem

Timesheet file attachments

Sometimes, employees are required to associate a file with their Replicon timesheet. For example, employees might need to provide:

  • A scanned copy of a worksheet that includes a signature
  • Notes on work completed that are saved in a Google Sheets or SharePoint document
  • Images of work they complete each day
However, historically, you’ve needed to track those documents separately from the timesheet itself.

But now, you can attach files directly to configurable timesheets using our new File / Web Address (URL) custom field format. This format is available in the Daily Fields and Timesheet Fields components.

Once a field is set up on their timesheet template, users can enter a URL or upload a file when they’re completing timesheets, so files always stay connected to the timesheet they relate to.

As we announced a couple of months ago, file attachment fields can also be added to time off bookings.

Refer to Creating custom fields for more information on setting up file attachment fields.

  • We’ve added parameters for defining pay code names to the following Canadian default pay rules: Manitoba, Newfoundland, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, PEI, Saskatchewan, and Yukon

Fixed issues

  • If you uncheck the Show Closed Tasks option and then close an open task, that task may still display
  • In reports based on the Timesheet Audit Trail report template, the Action filter doesn’t include the Force Approved action
