Project Management - Tracking Revenues instead of just hours

When we upgraded to the Gen 3 platform, we went right to the Project Management tab.  It provides a very clear understanding of the status of each project based on estimated vs actual aggregated hours spent.  Unfortunately the actual vs estimated hours only gives us a very limited view of the true success of each project since our employees have different billing rates (one of the reasons why we selected Replicon as our timesheet solution over other solutions in the industry at the time).

What we are looking for is to have an "ESTIMATED BILLING" field added to the Project Management screen that corresponds with the existing "actual billing" field to assess the financial standing of each project.  The ESTIMATED BILLING field can be calculated (simple addition) from the "Estimated Cost" field associated with each project task.  To see more project/task detail, the user should be able to select a specific project in order to see a task summary that includes HOURS (estimated vs. actual) and BILLING (estimated vs. actual).

Not only will this improvement help project managers see the true health of their assigned projects, it should also be possible to add a BACKLOG field in the project management report to help companies gauge the balance of work that still needs to be completed (backlog = total project estimate - actual billing).

Thank you

Hi Gus,

We have our team working around a similar idea already. We will have this communicated to our internal team and will update the thread with the progress around this
