Overwrire feature suggestion that can save the unnecessary data entry burden for users

While adjusting with new version and to get the most value from it, we are testing with different columns (by adding/removing columns) in timesheets to get better reporting. If we do so, the overwrite feature does not copy anything if there is any difference in column structure.


Suggestion for Overwrite feature from previous time sheet:

If we do overwrite from previous timesheet excluding time that means, we only need task list to be copied. So it should not matter if columns structure is different or same, task list should be copied.

If we do overwrite from previous timesheet with time that means, we need task list and time columns to be copied and newly added column (that does not exist in previous time sheet) can be there with no data at all. And if we have removed any column in current sheet that existed in pervious one then of-course we don’t need it so copy should not consider that at all.


Adding all the task list rows every week is a kind of unnecessary burden that does not make any sense.
