OverTime Rules

1. For each timesheet, I see the Total Hours, the Overtime Hours, and the Banked Overtime Hours Deposited. How do I see Hours for this Timesheet, e.g. 44 Total Hours, 40 Hours for this Timesheet? 2. How do our employees use those banked overtime hours so that they are subtracted from the bank? 3. In the Timesheet Report, when there are overtime hours banked in any given week, I see that the overtime hours are removed from the most recent day in the week. It shouldn't be like this. How do we take the overtime hours off of the days that the overtime hours are recorded? That is, if a standard work day is 8 hours, and an employee works 10 hours one day, how would the overtime be taken off that particular day so it shows 8 hours in the Regular Hours column and 2 hours in the Overtime Hours column?

Hi,

Thank you for using Replicon Community.

To answer your first question, If there is an Overtime rule set for the user and, if anything more than 40 hours is overtime, then the 4 hours is the over time hours and the 40 hours are regular hours. That makes the total hours to be 44.

For the second query, if Banked Time is enabled in the Time Off section of the users profiles, then the banked time on the timesheet becomes the balance for the Banked Time time off type. This balance can be used by users to book time off against the Banked Time.

For the third question, if you use a report based on the Timesheet Period template, you have columns for Total Hrs (Total hours), Total Regular Hrs (Total Regular hours) and Total overtime Hrs (Total overtime hours).

Thanks
