Notification Flexibility

Our company pays all employees current on scheduled hours, which requires time sheets to be due prior to the pay period end date.

We need one of to things to happen or ideally both.

1. Under the default time sheet due date I need the ability to input a negative number so the due date notifications can trip on earlier dates, or within notifications and/or.

2. I need to be able to set it back to more than 6 days before the due date.  For example our time sheets are due on the 6th through the 15th this pay period.  i needed the notifications to out on the 4th.

We currently use the broadcast functionality but there are delivery limitations that require us to select several departments due the fact that we can't hit all 600 users at once.

HI Jason,

We understand the requirement here. Thank you for putting forward the idea. I will check with our Product management team if this is already in plans or we if there can be any chances of offering customization on the same. We will keep the thread updated with the progress.

Thanks,
Aashnee

Hi,

Thanks for your feedback.
It will not be possible to allow a -ve number in the timesheet Due Date as it does not make sense to have a timesheet due before it is completed.
With respect to triggering the Due notification more than 6 days prior to the notification, the idea was that the more earlier the reminder goes out, the more people are likely to forget as the due date actually draws near. Based on some feedback we got from people less than a week seemed to be reasonable frame of time within which it made sense to send out this notification.
In your case, why did you need to send out the reminder before the timesheet has started?
I apologize for the late reply, but I would love to understand your requirement better to get to the root of the issue.

Regards,
Avinash
