Replicon is introducing a license management system feature, to simplify the process of managing Replicon product licensing. Now an Replicon Administrator can view the license usage by users in a user friendly interface. For more details click here

Below are the FAQs:

1. Where can I see the license Assigned and Purchased Count?

The License Purchased and Assigned count can be viewed in the Manage Account Section under Administration - System and Security.

2. I don't see the manage account option on the administration page.
The availability of the manage account option is dependent on the corresponding permission in the Administrator Permission set. Follow the below steps to enable the option:
  • Go to Administration
  • Click on Permission Sets
  • Edit the Administrator permission assigned to you
  • Check the Manage Account option
  • Save
  • Logout and Login to make the change effective

3. How can I confirm if the license count is exceeding?
The License Assigned count is updated on the manage account page. If the License Assigned is more than the License Purchased the number will show up in red as follows:

4. Can the license assignment be controlled through permissions?
Yes. We have introduced a permission named "License Assignment" under the administration permission set. You can provide view and edit access to this permission based on the requirement.

5. License Assignment summary does not reflect the correct status. What should I do?
You can send an email to support@replicon.com or contact your account manager directly.

6. Can I mass update the user's license assignment?
Yes. You can follow the below steps:
  • Go to Administration
  • Click on Users
  • On the User List page select the users you wish to edit by checking the box
  • Click on the Edit button
  • Go to License Section
  • Assign the Licenses and Save
7. Can I filter the user list based on license assigned?
Yes. We have introduced a new filter on the user list page named Product. Selecting the license in this filter displays the number of users assigned to that license.

8. I have assigned the license, but the user is not able to access the module.
In order to have a user access Replicon it is necessary to have a combination of both permissions/templates and licenses.

Please feel free to post any queries.

Is this feature available to all Gen3 clients ?
(I still have a feeling that since our upgrade from 7.5 we do not have the same feature accesses as other clients)
Thanks.

Hi John,

We are currently doing a phased rollout for now. It will eventually be deployed to everyone.

We will let you know once this is deployed to all our clients.

Regards,
Lingaraj

I do not see this new option either.  I also received an email from your Compliance Director Beverly stating I should have these new features.

Confusing.

Also my account show that it expires in Sep 2015 (the past).  Double Confusing.

The expiry date has been rectified. Kindly refresh and confirm. The license management will roll out gradually to all customers.

Confirmed fixed, thank you.

I wonder why Beverly did not say this in her email and forced us to find out this info on the forum?

Is there a way to add license type to a report, so it can be exported to excel for analysis?  (i.e. I am looking for a way to verify that the correct license types are assigned to each user).
