New iPhone App "Dashboard Inbox" just spins and does nothing. Why?

The new iPhone app "Dashboard Inbox" just spins and does nothing.  It is confusing to my users because they are waiting for something to happen.  How do I fix this?  What was I supposed to expect to see?

Also, the "Dashboard" should have been put first or last across bottom of app.  Makes no sense to put in middle.  On old app, personal timesheet, expense and time off was cleary separated from the "Team" tasks.  Now they appear co-mingled.  Not a good choice.

I've been working with support on this since early this morning . Honestly reassuring to see its system wide problem. Hopefully will garner more focus from support.

Hi Network Administrator,

Replicon is aware about this issue and a fix should be deployed tonight or early morning tomorrow.

This issue currently impacting users who have the supervisor permission assigned:

As a workaround, please enable the view Time Punches in the supervisor permission as shown in the screenshot below:

This should resolve the issue. Once again sincere apologies for all the pain this has caused.

Regards,
Lingaraj

Here is your band-aid Jason.  It's a shame you had talk with tech support about this all morning, and the forum provided a Band-Aid in 30 minutes.

Hi All,

A workaround was made available first thing in the morning, which I have posted above, kindly check and let me know if that addresses the issue. Please do log out and log in again from the app, so that the new settings are fetched from the server.

Regards,
Lingaraj

Confirmed fixed and working for me.  Thank you Lingaraj. FYI, we are not a time punch customer though.

Confirmed working with "Time Punch" permission removed, thank you.  However, now I notice a new issue related to this permission.  I'll post more on this later.

Maybe this is by design.  When Time Punch permission is checked, the app buttons across bottom can be re-ordered.   When Time Punch permission is removed, no re-ordering allowed.  Screen shots below.  Comments?

@Network Administrator

When the number of tabs goes beyond 5 tabs, 'More' becomes available by default to the app user. This is an iOS behavior which states that, should there be an item, falling under the 'More' which is frequently used, then it should be allowed to be rearranged.

When you disabled the time punches permission your number of tabs went down to 5, hence, the rearranging options were no longer required.

Hope that helps.

Lingaraj
