I am submitting this request on behalf of CIBCFinanceABC. Please consider allowing users to add Activities on Mobile App because many of our teams rely heavily on Activities function. Thank you.

Hi Kitty,

Welcome to the Replicon community and thank you for submitting your idea.

Do you mean to say that as an admin you should be able to create and assign activities to users?

Regards,
Lingaraj

No I mean that users should be able to submit Activities on their mobile app. Also, my manager requests that our users should be able to put hours and volume against a deliverable (i.e. task, subtask, activity) on mobile app

Hi Kitty,

Our mobile app supports time entry against Client/Project/Task and activities by default as long they are enabled by your system administrator.

Refer to the screenshot below of our Android app using the standard timesheet template.

Can you provide a screenshot of your timesheet that you are using? I need to know which timesheet format you are currently using.

Regards,
Lingaraj

Hi Lingaraj,

Please see the screenshot above. I am not able to see the Activity field.

Please advise how I can set it up.

Thank you,

Kitty

Hi Kitty,

Do you use Activities on your timesheet? If no, then you need to set it up first. You can read about setting up activities for your instance at the link below:

http://www.replicon.com/help/setting-up-activities-for-time-tracking

If yes and you are an administrator, please go to your account on the computer and confirm if activities have been enabled on your timesheet template along with them being enabled in the user account itself.

(Note: This change is global and if you decide to enable it, activities will be enabled for everyone who is assigned this Timesheet Template. If you prefer to control this at the user level, then disable activities at the account level.)

Refer to the screenshots below:

  • Check which Timesheet Template has been assigned to your account.

  • Go to that specific Timesheet Template and confirm if Show Activities is checked or not.

  • Check if activities are enabled at the individual account level.

Hope that helps.

Regards,
Lingaraj
