Scenario

Message 'System reopened because overlapping booking was modified' is seen on Approval Details Tab.



Reason: This happens, when the Administrator changes the TimeOff Type booked by the users to a different Time Off Type on an Approved TimeSheet. The Timesheet will be re-opened and you will find a Message 'System reopened because overlapping booking was Modified' on the Approval Details Tab.

When this happens, does the "System" need to approve the time sheet in order for it to be submitted? What is the procedure to resubmitting?

Thank you for using Replicon community,

Yes, an approval is needed as the total hours on the timesheet are modified. You can either have the end user submit the timesheet or you can resubmit it as an Payroll manager via the Payroll tab.
