Mandatory Lunch break

In a situation when a user does not take mandatory half lunch break, for reasons permitted by management, can the moderator suggest how to handle that? We are looking for a request from the user and approval by supervisor. Thanks

A meal break violation would always be considered a violation (based on the States law), even if the reason is permitted by the management. The only option would be to have the user enter a comment stating the cause for the violation. The Supervisor approves the timesheet with an additional comment about the reason. (If the states law mandates payment for a meal break violation for whatsoever reason, then the company is liable to pay the user the same.)
