The problem I am having is similar to what Paul Dziedzic's (Time off bookings should be limited to maximum balance) posted two years ago, which seems to be marked as implemented.
We have TimeAttend. We have only one PTO category (no vacation, sick, personal, etc., just PTO). PTO accrues on a bi-weekly basis. PTO days accrued each year are 15/20/25 depending on years with the company, with anniversary date prompting the transition to the next PTO bracket. PTO balances zero out at the end of the year, no carryover. Employees are allowed to borrow 5 days of PTO at anytime throughout the year, with the expectation of not exceeding their 15/20/25 days as of the last day of the year.
In Administration>Time Off>Time Off Types>PTO>policies it makes sense to set Maximum Overdraw to 5 Days/40 hours. But, if an employee who is in the 15 days of PTO per year bracket has already used their 15 days they can still submit additional requests for time off, and it is able to be approved by their supervisor. The only way for an employee and supervisor to catch this policy violation this is to carefully review each request and spot the negative balance under 2018 Summary/Year end estimate. There should be a way for Replicon to create this limit.
