Leave Balance Configuration, Rollover

Our company maintains two "vacation balances.
One is for current fiscal year vacation which accrues bi-weekly between July 1st and June 30th of the subsequent year.
The other is called Use or Lose (also identified as previous year vacation balance). This one, we wish to grab the remaining balance of vacation at the end of June 30th above and populate this time off balance plus 3 days.
In our previous version, sql database, it was easy for me to grab the data, add the 3 days and upload the balance to the database.

I was informed at re-implementation that the configuration could not look at another time off bucket. But I was also informed that my configuration request would be taken under consideration in future release. We have been using Gen3 since April 2014 and have yet to read / hear of any updates.
As June 30th has just passed, I once again find myself having to enter each employee's time off configuration and manually update the balances. We only have 300 employees but the task is extremely time consuming.

Thoughts / updates ?

Thank you.

Hi John,

Thank you for posting on the community,

Yes, you can't automatically roll over of time off balances and needs to be done manually via UI or via CSV import. We will have the concerned PM look into this and see if this is possible from the new Time Off engine.

Hi John,

Our new Time Off system has the ability to write custom scripted rules around accruals. So this is something our new Time Off system could support in an automated fashion.

Best, Karen

Good day Karen.
12 months ago, this post indicated that it has been implemented.
I am unaware of the new time off system which allows for me to write custom scripts around accruals.

For the third year in a row, I am forced to handle the leave update for almost 400 employees, manually. By this I mean, I have to enter each User individually, select the Time Off module, select the respective Time Off Type(s), select Add New Policy, enter the Effective Date, update the new beginning balance and select save.

I have yet to receive a reply to my question about "Implemented Status" and / or custom scripts.
