Our holiday systems increases due to length of service, i.e. you start with 25 days p/a, after 5 years this is increased to 28 and after 20 it's increased to 31. I have the various policies set to start based on the anniversary.
In this instance the individual will complete 5 years' service next month, but will not be entitled to the extra days until next year. Is there a way to remedy this?
I've avoided using the pro-rata button as it doesn't seem to be helpful for new starters or leavers, but is this the occasion where I should use it?
