Is there any way to include the cost effective date along with the current cost for a user in a report? We are trying to generate a report that lists all staff with the current costs and the last date this was changed.
Unfortunately, currently there is no ready column to update the same. However, I can suggest a workaround. This may involve a bit of manual work.
You can create a User Level user defined field by going to User Settings. This field can be of the type date and can be viewed in the user profile once created. Every time the cost is changed this field can be updated. You can then pull up this field in the User Template report.
It depends on what permission you have provided the user with. If it is just basic user then they can see this field but only for themselves. If it is Payroll Manager or equivalent then they can view the details.
