How to resolve "This application does not have permission" error while accessing Quickbooks Integration Manager for the first time?

You are trying to access the Quickbooks Integration Manager for the first time and notice the following error:

                             

This issue is noticed in cases where Quickbooks does not allow access to the company file. You can follow the screen shots below to resolve the issue.

1. Login to Quickbooks Standalone version and then click on Edit and Preferences

                           

2. Click on Company Preferences and then remove the check box 'Don't allow any applications to access this company file' and click ok. This should resolve the issue.
