Say you’re a project administrator, and it’s your job to make sure projects in your company stay on track. That can require a lot of time – digging into the details and calculating progress.

But sometimes you just want to quickly see the big picture – preferably in an easy to digest, visual format.

We hear you. That’s why we’re adding health status indicators to our Projects list page.

These color-coded indicators show you which projects are in trouble and where you need to swoop in to get things back on track.

So what determines the color of the circle?

You do. Since every team defines ‘on track’ or ‘behind’ differently, we’ve left this up to you.

So, project managers can go with their gut when assigning this status, rather than being restricted by a set formula that might miss a critical detail. And managers can associate comments with each icon, to explain their choice.

Project health indicators will soon be available in any product with projects functionality.
