Gen3 API Get Data filter by "Last Modified Date"

We use the API functions to get lists of data from Replicon, such as lists of projects, clients, users, etc. For example, the ProjectListService1.svc/GetData function returns a list of projects. I would like to be able to filter the result list by something like a "Last Modified Date", so that I can get a list of only those projects that have been recently added or modified, such as in the past day or past hour or since a specified date/time.

Hi Anthony,

Thank you for your post.

Our PM team is working on a different logic to obtain such data, however, nothing is finalized yet. I have marked this post as Not Planned for now. Once we have something concrete we will update this thread.

Have a nice day ahead!

Regards,
Lingaraj

Hi Lingaraj, has there been any update to this? What did you mean by "different logic to obtain such data" - can you give me a rough idea of the approach you're considering?

I'm just looking for some sort of ability to find data that's been recently modified. Another method would be to get some form of notification when data has been modified.

Thank you. I see the 'NotificationScriptListService1' which seems like it might be related to this - where can I find information on using that API?

Hi Anthony,

We don't have documentation readily available for specific services, please post your questions on that service here and we can get the PM team to answer them for you.

Thanks,
Lingaraj

Hi Anthony,

We don't have "Last Modified Date" on project data. "Last Modified Data" would help in cases of addition and modifications, but it won't give user any feedback on hard deletions in data. Hence we are evaluating Webhooks as well as a persistent pub/sub message queue on data. All those are options for us but we haven't finalized on it. Hence when Lingaraj mentioned that "we are evaluating other methods to get the modified data" this is what he meant. Implementation of it is "Not Planned" at present.

Currently we don't support notifications on projects; this is what 'NotificationScriptListService1' is used for. I have checked with Product Manager who manages "Projects" and have been informed that it is currently "Not Planned".

Hence at the present time there is no mechanism to get just the modifications in the "Project Data".

Thanks for putting in your request we will consider in our future roadmap planning.

Regards.
