Functionality suggestion for Timesheets - to re-order rows

As other posters have commented, the lack of functionaility to re-order rows in Timesheet  causes a problem for users who have many rows and struggle to find the project they are looking for in a haystack of others. Humans work by logical associations and it would be most convenient to rearrange the random row series into projects, groups etc.

OK developers, now it's time to pick up this interest from many users and make it a reality. Thanks

Hi Nick,

We recently added the ability to sort the timesheet rows by clicking on the column header. There are many options to choose from - sorting by project, client, etc. You can find more information here.

Thanks,
Charlene

Hi Charlene,

Thank you for the response. I was not aware of this functionality.

However the row re-order options are basically limited to sort by A to Z or sort by Z to A, and this does not meet the re-order felxibility I am looking to achieve. What would be most helpful is the ability for users to pick any row e.g. halfway down the series, select it and then move it upwards or downwards to the proximity of another item (may be an  association or similar activity). Hope this can be added to the list of items to be considered and is not too tricky to implement.

Many Thanks

Nick
