In Replicon you can setup substitute users in order to allow them to substitute as you and take any actions on your behalf. The adding of substitute users can be helpful in scenarios where you would like someone to approve/reject in your absence.

How to Setup a substitute user?
Ensure that your user who wants to assign a substitute user is assigned with a user permission type with “Assign Substitute Users” option checked. To setup a substitute user, have the user go to settings by clicking on the gear icon available on the top right hand corner. Click on Add Substitute Users and choose the User name with the Allowed from and allowed to dates

How to enable forward notifications for the substitute user?
While setting up the substitute user, check the forward notification checkbox to ensure the notifications are forwarded to the substitute user.

How to differentiate between email sent to the original user and forwarded notification?
If you are added as a substitute user and they have enabled forward notifications option, then you will be copied on all the notifications that are originally sent to them. The email will appear as follows

Note - In situations where you don't see the forward notification option, contact the Replicon Support team. They will enable the latest timesheet format for you, which will allow you to set notifications and enable the option to forward them to the supervisor.
