We have two different employee bases in our company. One in the US and one in Puerto Rico. They each have their own holiday schedule at the company level. When we have an employee change from US to PR or vice versa the holidays change in the past (even prior years) as well as the future. How do we stop that from happening? We would only want the holidays in the future to change.

Hi Kathy,
Thank you for using Replicon Community,
When you swap the holiday calendar from US to PR, Replicon will only be able to read and apply dates from one calendar at a time. I am afraid there isn't a way to stop the PR holiday calendar from overriding the dates from the US one. As a work around you could create a separate holiday calendar which contains partially past US holidays & future PR holidays.
Let me know if this is helpful.
Thanks,
Lingaraj

I agree with Kathy: when we change the user's calendar it should only be applied from the effective date onward... Past information shouldn't be modified.Lingaraj suggestions seems to be hard to maintain: implementing this suggestions we can have, in the limit, a huge number of calendars: one for each employee that at sometime moved from one geo to another... it is not feasible.

Hi Luz,
We don't have an effective date concept for holiday calendars yet, but I have marked this as an idea and are reviewing the same.
Thanks,
Lingaraj
