Email Notifications Gen 3: Need to have individual email notifications capability:Is there a way to enable the email notifications in Gen 3 for individual users instead of just the "turn on/turn off" option. We are needing this to be set back up like Gen 2, where we can "select" specific notifications per each individual. Thanks!

Hi!

In the user profile administration page you have an option to enable or disable individual notifications.

It that what you want?

Hi Tony,

You can enable/disable notifications in bulk manner. You can select the users you wish to edit the notifications for from the user list page and click Edit. Then go to email notifications, disable the ones you want to and click save. That makes the change for all the selected users.

Thanks,
Aashnee

But, that's for one user at a time. I'm referring to a way to modify for all or many users at once across all available notifications.

Yes Tony, you can do all or many users at once. Here are the steps:

1. go to Administration
2. Click on Users
3. Check the box against the user names. You can select one or all
4. Click on the Edit Button
5. Go to Email Notification and choose the ones you want to enable and disable
6. Click Save.

The change will apply to ALL the users that you selected in step 3

Thanks,
Aashnee

True, but that method doesn't show which users have what notifications enabled or disabled. See screenshot of what I'm suggesting.

Hi Tony,

The idea behind updating in mass manner is knowing the email notification you wish to assign and then enable it for all users. This is irrespective of the fact whether or not the email notification is assigned to the user.

Thanks,
Aashnee

Priscilla,

Please do let me know if you are talking about the custom notification for the Gen 4/Widget Timesheet.

Thanks,
Aashnee
