Email Notification to a specific recipient

We would like to be able to set up a custom notification that is sent to a particular user. In our specific case, we need an email to be sent to an HR user whenever any expense sheet is rejected.

When looking into custom notifications, I see that we have the ability to edit and add recipients to a custom notification. When editing the existing recipient called expense_owner, the content of the recipient is"

return [{'loginName' : service_cache['expense_sheet_details'].owner.loginName,'uri' : service_cache['expense_sheet_details'].owner.uri }]
I attempted to add an additional recipient with the following content:

return [{'loginName' : 'USER_LOGIN_NAME','uri' : 'USER_URI' }]
where USER_LOGIN_NAME is my login name and USER_URI is the URI for my replicon user.

Unfortunately, this did not work when i tested it.

Can we get this custom recipient feature working? or can we have a different way of having notifications sent to a specifically-defined email or user?

HI Rameen,

Would you like the recipient to be edited or would you like someone to be copied along with the actual recipient?

I think either would work, because if we were able to successfully edit the recipient, we could create an additional notification for the HR user who needs to know when an expense is rejected. We could keep the existing email to the expense sheet's owner alone in that case.

The HR user being copied along with the existing recipient would be fine as well
