Disable Expense Codes By User

It would be great to disable certain expense codes under a User's profile.  For example, under Timesheets, you can disable certain Activities under the User's profile but for some reason you can't do the same under Expenses.  We have Users that should only have access to some of the expense codes; when they click on the Expense Code field, they should have a smaller list to select from.

Hi Angela,

We don't have plans for this currently. But we'll see if other customers chime in and review during future planning sessions.

Thanks,
Charlene

And here an other customer comes with the same need :)

As our list of codes grows and grows, it would be great, if I can enable and disable certain codes. This could be achieved in two (or both) ways:

Make an option in the settings of each user to check or uncheck each expense code

Make an option in the settings of the expense codes to check or uncheck groups (Department). If I don't check any group, the new code will not be added to actual users. If I check some or all groups it will be added.

If both ways are implemented, of course the user setting must be priorized.

Greetings from Switzerland

I concur this option is needed.
Our company has many branches, plowing through those expense lines is a constant waste of time, particularly when I think how many employees there are, and how often it must be done.
