Custom field in User profile

I need to have a Custom field in User profile which must be placed below Department. Can you guide me how to do this please?

Hi Sagar,

Custom fields in the user profile can be created from the user settings available under Administration - Employees and organization section. These fields however, will only be placed in the "user profile" section of the page and not in the "other" section. Unfortunately, there is no way to place the fields in any other section of the page.

Hi Aashnee,

I had another question for the same issue above. Can we make the Employee Type field Free Text instead of Dropdown?
