Creating a filter for login name.

We want to run a report using web services to integrate employee (user) specific information into our intranet.  So If I login I see my information, if "John" logs in he sees his information.

I have built the report in replicon so we always call the same report but I cannot see how to create a report that would use login.name that as a filter.  The user filter seems to be only the userID (a number)

urn:replicon-tenant:xyz-gen3:report-filter:620247129b814631854ddbd61c68148d;userfilter

Is there a way to call another service to get the user Id for a login name or a way to use login name as a filter?

Hi Paul,

Thank you for using the Replicon Community!

You can get Login names using UserService1>GetData or UserListService1>GetAllUsers. You can get more information here

Thanks,
Aashnee

Thanks. I will call  the userService to return the URI for the user for the call to the next report.
