Replicon is proud to have a community of customers and affiliates—real people who seek to collaborate on answers, solutions and ideas about our products and services. We hope you’ll participate regularly, but we have a few simple guidelines to ensure the community is valuable to all who participate. For everyone’s sake, we are committed to enforcing these guidelines, as well as our Terms and Conditions.

Here are the Do’s and Don'ts of participation in the Replicon Community:

DOs:
  • Be yourself. Use your real name, share your expertise and ask questions. The purpose of this community is to be a resource for all things time tracking.
  • Make meaningful connections. Make new contacts by interacting with other members. Interaction with other members comes in many forms: giving “praise", clicking “ME TOO” on a topic thread and commenting on another member’s topic.
  • Be professional and friendly. Behave professionally. Do not be dishonest or inappropriate. It is crucial to avoid attacking someone personally.
  • Contribute often. Half of the fun of participating in a community is about contributing content. This content can be in the form of a question, an idea or even a comment on another members’ post.
  • Add value. This community is designed for discovery, direct involvement and personal recognition. Make it a richer place by sharing your experience and insight. Ask well-reasoned questions, give valuable answers and reward those who do the same.
  • Have integrity. Be constructive with your criticism and respect the privacy of others. It is okay to talk up the products or services you love (or sell), but only if it is relevant to the conversation.
  • Protect your privacy. Comments on the blog are visible to the general public. You shouldn’t post anything here that you wouldn’t say in public. Protect your privacy and don’t give out personal information such as email addresses, telephone numbers or street addresses.

  • Respect each other. This may be an online venue, but we’re all equals no matter where we share our thoughts and opinions.

DON’Ts:

  • Don’t self-promote. It’s ok to talk about products or services that you find helpful but only when and if it is appropriate to the conversation.
  • Don’t go off on a tangent. Off-topic content, content that is posted repetitively, and content that is deliberately disruptive has no place here.
  • Don’t be mean. Hateful, abusive, harassing, defamatory, fabricated, misleading or threatening material will be deleted immediately. So don’t bother.
  • Don’t be inappropriate. This is a professional community. Respect your colleagues by refraining from posting any offensive, violent or sexual content.
It is our community, and we’re reading the comments. We reserve the right to delete any posts that do not adhere to our guidelines, such as solicitations or inappropriate content. We reserve the right to ban anyone who repeatedly violates our guidelines and to modify or change these guidelines without notice.

With that said, thanks for reading, and of course, for participating.
