Comma as decimal separator on timesheet?

  • Under Consideration

We are soon migrating to Gen3 with TimeBill module (on Gen2 we were using TimeCost).
For most of our users, the regional setting for decimal separator is , (comma). In Gen3 it seems that the decimal separator is . (period). That'll generate an issue for users: first, they need to learn to use period as separator. Second, if they would like to export a report to excel, they'll have problems with hour calculations (replacing period with commas generates an additional step).

The optimal solution would be that a user could set the decimal separator for himself (we have persons from different areas with different regional settings as well).

Hi Tina,

Thank you for putting forward this Idea. I have put this forward to our product Management team in order to confirm if this is something already in talks and plans.

We can't use numeric keypad to enter hours in Replicon! That is pretty astonishing considering the system is built for entering hours. The period key in numeric keypad should always be interpreted as a decimal separator, regardless of the language or keyboard layout you are using. But Replicon fails to do that :(

Hi All,

We are aware that this is an issue right now. We are currently investigating the best path forward.

Thanks, Karen
