With the new Replicon the hierarchy has now changed, causing confusion in our office.
It says its still Client > Project > Task but the layout has changed.

Hi Rachel,

As we understand you are referring to the hierarchy visible on the timesheet. Unfortunately, this is the way the hierarchy appears on all the timesheets. Is there a specific sequence you are looking for?

Hi Aashnee,

The sequence should still be Client > Project > Task but appear in a single line.
We've had numerous complaints from our staff that the new layout is visually confusing, I guess I don't understand why it had to change in the first place.

See screenshots of old layout and new layout.

Thanks,

Hi Rachel,

Unfortunately, that is the layout for the the timesheet for now. Let me check with the product management team regarding any enhancements that are being made on this.

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Timesheet - switch Task / Project importance in entry mask.

It would be great to have the choice in the timesheet that the project comets first instead of the task. Meaning the project gets the big bold highlighting and the task is the smaller font underneath.

The majority our users does not work with tasks and the remaining people use tasks extensively. Hence, the priority is more on the project and not on the task.

Hi Rachel,

We've heard similar concerns from a few customers. There are a few other items that we are working on, but I hope to take a look at this to see what we can do soon.

Thanks,
Charlene

Couldn't agree more, Rachel ... the sequence in which the information appears on the Timesheets should be:  CLIENT > PROJECT > TASK (which signals a linear progression - starting with Clients (primary), then Projects (secondary) and finally Tasks (tertiary). We are at a loss to understand the logic behind the way in which REPLICON has modified the Timesheets - they were far more User-Friendly before the 'widget' version. It also seems, that Replicon has not spent sufficient time 'beta-testing' prior to the launch of this upgrade.

In simple terms - why fix what isn't broken! Makes no sense whatsoever.
