Away from Replicon timesheet tab for a bit - session is inactive - messes up running stopwatch

I decided to try and use the stopwatch feature on my time tracking tasks. Very useful if my page/session wouldn't go inactive due to lack of activity. When that happens, the stopwatch is all messed up. I should be able to start a task, be away from the page for however long (forever) and come back to it without it timing out on me. Is there a setting I am missing?

Hi Emily,

Thank you for using Replicon community,

Sorry to hear that you are facing issues with your timesheet. Yes, under system preferences your Replicon Administrator may have set up 'idle user session timeout (minutes)' as shown below:

If yes, then we recommend that you contact your Replicon Administrator and check with them if it can be disabled.

We also recommend that you hit the 'Save' button once you start the stopwatch, please do not stay logged in and leave the session idle for more than 30mins. The stopwatch will continue to run in the background, even if you move to another tab or log out.

I have demonstrated this in the below video:

Let me know if that helps.

Thanks,
Lingaraj

I work on so many different tasks during the day it is impractical for me to sign out of Replicon every time I start/stop the stopwatch. I need to be able to leave it open and just stop/start the stop watch on different tasks throughout the day. I understand needing to save. That is fine, but I can't sign in/out of Replicon every task change... that is ridiculous.

Hi Emily,

I would then recommend that you keep refreshing the Replicon window by hitting the F5 on the keyboard. Refresh action will not impact the stopwatch in anyway. This will ensure the session stays active and the browser keeps an active connection with our servers.

Thanks,
Lingaraj
