Audit trail report doesn't track actions (comments)

When an employee adds a comment to reopened, submitted, rejected, approved,... timesheet the comments do not appear in the timesheet audit trail report.  The change reason function does not suffice and is not related (doesn't work on the app).
We need a report that is an exact copy of the "Approval Details" on a persons timesheet.

Hi Wayne,

Thank you for posting your feedback.
I agree with the need for this column and understand the difficulty that the absence of this column causes.

I've made a note of this request and we will be reviewing it in subsequent product planning sessions. We will look at adding this column to the report in one of the future product releases.

Thanks,
Naveen

This report is a key element in our Audit process, can you please review and give serious thought to fixing this.  I've noticed in the community other requests asking for the same or similar fix.

regards
Wayne

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled TimeSheet Approval status to be tracked on TimeSheet Audit Trail Report.

We need to move from Supervisor approval to System approval for Timesheet, as a part of impact analysis would like to check how many times the employees went back and changed the hours enetered in the past once their supervisor approve the hours.
If we have the status field tracked when User modifies the timesheet it will be helpful.

Hi Wayne

We think this is a good idea and will consider it in future releases.  We don't currently have it in the plan as we are in the process of releasing new timesheet functionality.  Once we complete those changes, we will review/update the audit reports and will consider this change then.

Thank you again for providing feedback.

Hi Wayne,

I'm happy to report that we've added these comments in the audit trail report. You can find them in the Modification Summary for submit, approve, reopen actions. Hope that helps!

Thanks,
Charlene

We are experiencing issues with this report as well. I don't understand why the report doesn't pull the additional comments as the ability to filter by client and/or project. At least having the ability to view timesheet modifications by client or project would help to find a particular timesheet modification. Can you please add the client and project filters into this report?

Thanks,
Amy

Hi Amy,

We actually added comments into the report a little while ago. As for client/project filtering, can you give me an example of how you would use these filters? Are you looking for changes for a specific project? If so, can you explain why?

Thanks,
Charlene
