Archive old clients and projects

We have many clients and projects in our system from our past 17 years of business. We want to keep that data in the system. However, we'd like to be able to mark some of it as 'archived', so that it no longer shows up in report filters, etc. Our client list and project list in report filters has gotten to be hundreds of items long, and we'd like to be able to remove some of those entries, while still keeping the data in an archived status in the system.

Hi Andrew,

We already have the ability to mark projects and clients archived. You can go in the project and change the status to archive and mark a client as inactive as well

Thanks,
Aashnee

I have the same problem. You can mark a client as inactive but they still show up in the list for a project filter. I have old clients or test clients and want them off the list. I have only just started this company but this is my second company and expect my client list to be well more than 20 and projects active at one time can be greater than 100. If I can't filter out old clients when filtering a project this entire application will become useless to me in a few years.
