Hi Nabil,

Thank you for using Replicon Community.

You can set the second Supervisor as the Substitute user of the first Supervisor.

Please follow the steps given below to set up one user as another user's Substitute user.

  • Log into Replicon as an Administrator.
  • Navigate to the Administration section by click on Administration tab in the top menu.
  • Click on Users under Employees and Organization section.
  • Now click on the User's name, for whom the substitute user has to be set up.
  • In the user's Profile page, click on the 'Login as...' link (located at top right side of the page) to switch over to the user's page.
  • Once you are on the user's page, click on the Settings (gear) icon, located at the top right hand corner of the page.
  • In the pop-up box, click on Settings.
  • Under the Substitute Users section, click on Add Substitute User button.
  • Select the Substitute user from the User drop down list.
  • Specify the date range for the Substitute user.
  • By default the Substitute user gets Full Access, and the access cannot be changed.
  • When done, click on Add to save the settings.
  • Finally click on the Save button at top to save the settings.

Thanks this would work, but it will also give the second supervisor more access than he need, is there another way to give him access to do just what he needs to do that is approve timesheets.

Hi,

The substitute user option is the only solution for your scenario. Unfortunately we do not have any options to control or limit the access given to the substitute user.

Thanks
