Enhancement Request: As a project manager who is a supervisor, when approving time sheets for people that don't report to me, I don't want to see time for projects I'm not a manager of.
Currently, as a supervisor, if someone that doesn't report to me puts time on a project I am Project Manager for, when approving their time sheet, I see all of the rest of their time as well. I don't want to see that time. It should work similar to the Project Manager setting.
Yet, to be clear, for my employees that I am supervisor of, I want to see all of their time, inclusively.

I like this idea! Typically in these instances the supervisor gets distracted by all of the entries that do not pertain to them, it would be great to cut out that information so they do not even see it.

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Whole timesheet is displayed when a project leader is a supervisor at the same ti....
When a user has both project leader and supervisor permissions, he gets to see the whole timesheet of a user (who tracked against one of his projects) even though the user does not report to him.

I noticed that you are on Gen2, at the moment no further enhancements or features have been planned. Any new features will be added only on Gen3.
As and when this feature request is implemented on Gen3, we will update this thread.

Hi!
I, as a supervisor and project manager, when approving timesheets from my team members need an option to view time entries concerning only the projects that I manage.
Supervisors are able to view the entire timesheet for their team members - and that's ok, but it is hard for them, as project managers, to clearly identify the time entries they are requested to approve.
We have timesheets with more than 100 time entries in different projects.
Thanks,
Nuno

Hi Nuno,
I've split this out to its own topic as it's a little different than the other requests it was combined with.
Thanks,
Charlene

Hi everyone,
We've just made this change in our newest timesheet format. If you are not the user's supervisor, you'll only see the rows for your own projects. We'll be making this format available to existing customers in the near future, so you'll be able to take advantage of this soon.
Thanks,
Charlene

We're on Gen 3 - how do I know if this is implemented in our case?

It's not - only 'Standard' or 'In-Out' offered as a choice. Is this not yet a part of Gen 3?

Hi Peter,
This functionality was built on our latest timesheet format. Unfortunately we don't have plans to add it to the "Standard" and "In/Out" formats. But we will be making the "Custom" format available to existing customers in the coming months.
Thanks,
Charlene

Hi Charlene,
How do I get this change made to our account? I have a lot of Project Managers asking for this still.
Thanks,
Kara

Hi Kara,
We can have someone evaluate whether your company is a candidate for moving to our new timesheet platform. Would you like someone to contact you or someone at your company to start this discussion?
Thanks,
Charlene
