Administrators adding expenses on behalf of other users

We have an administrator per executive in our company, and our executive staff will have their admins log expenses on their behalf, but the system can't handle that.  How we can get this functionality?

Hi Chris,

Thank you for using Replicon community,

In order to enter expenses on behalf of another user one will need to login as that user first, then create expenses. This will require you to give them permission to login as other users. Are you ok with giving them this permission?

Thanks
Lingaraj

That is not going to work in our situation.  We need to be able to secure the rest of the system so that the administrators can't approve/see any time or expense reports of others unless they are granted access.

I am afraid there isn't any other means to enter expenses on behalf of other users. I have marked this as an idea and will have the PM team review the same.

Thanks
Lingaraj

We agree that a feature should be added that allows assistants to enter time and expenses for their bosses , having access only to the time and expense entry modules and not full log in privileges. Once time and expenses are entered for the exec staff, the timesheet and expense entries would need to go back to the exec employee for approval and submittal. The assistant would be limited to entering time and expenses but not submitting them; the timesheet owner/exec employee would need to do the review, approval and submittal.

Hello,

How did the planning process go?  Did this enhancement make it to the list of things to do?

Hi Chris,

This is currently not planned. I have asked my Product management team to re-look through. We will update the thread accordingly.

Thanks,
Aashnee
