"Manually Adjust Balances" Feature DOESN'T EXIST

If you have Payroll Manager Permissions, there's a check box that says "Allow Manual Balance Adjustments" which would allow you to manually add or subtract hours for an employee's Time Off Type of your choice, along with notes (reason for adjustment), effective date, and balance after adjustment.

I need to add 4 hours to an employee who made up her time, and there's no way to do that, so I looked up Balance Adjustment and the help portal takes me through step by step on how to get to it (here's the link https://www.replicon.com/help/making-manual-adjustments-to-time-off-balances)
but the feature was removed 10 months ago (says my Implementation Consultant!).

This seems like a very important feature - very BASIC considering the nature of Replicon's purpose - why would such an integral function 1) be removed? 2) not be important enough to have corresponding settings in my brand new instance removed as well? 3) not have updated the Help Center "Find Instant Answers"??

I am very upset. Sorry for the rambling. Please bring this feature back - it's still listed in your Product Selection pages, too!

I 100% agree with this. We went live with Replicon July 207 and was so disappointed a basic feature was not available in the latest & greatest version. We were coming from a different, very old, platform, and to lose this on the new/best software out there was a HUGE step back. We found we have to use Admin to go into the TO policy itself and make an adjustment. However, there is still no where to make a note of why the change is being made. Comments should be a basic field for historic reasons. Companies have turnover. If I was to go back have to figure out why some balance went from 1 to 6, it would not be possible.

Hi Nichole and Toni,

We understand the requirement here. We will have this communicated internally and update the thread

Hi Nichole and Toni,

Can you please provide some examples of when you need to make manual adjustments?

The help topic you are referring to is for a previous version of our time off system. In that system, it was not possible to make changes to historical policies, so manual adjustments were provided to help with these kinds of corrections. In the latest version, historical policies can be changed. We'll update our help content to be clearer there. In the meantime, it would be helpful to hear from you as to the types of scenarios that require manual adjustments outside of correcting policy errors.

Hi Charlene -
1. We give Attendance Credits as "Bonuses" a couple times a year to employees that earn them. A manual adjustment with a place for comments/notes or "Reason for Adjustment" would be beneficial as it's not an actual Policy so there's nowhere to make changes to any "rules".
2. When an employee takes time off and then makes up the time, let's say, a manual adjustment to add the hours back in to their bank would be helpful.
3. Lastly, we have a very important Sick Time Policy in particular that would benefit from manual adjustments because it only calculates time off transactions from the past 12 months - it's on a Rolling Calendar Year, so any time off taken in June of last year has been "dropped off" as of the end of June this year. I don't see a way to automatically calculate or assign Rolling Calendar to policies in Replicon, and if I have to go in and change the effective date every month for every employee, it would be easier to just manually adjust.
